Sad news about a classmate

Wyndy St John has passed away.  The following information is from a facebook post:

IN MEMORIAM — We offer our condolences to the family and friends of Wyndham St John, who passed away on March 6 at the age of 63 in Cadiz, Spain. Born in Vancouver, BC, and residing in the United Kingdom, St John was an accomplished Canadian equestrian throughout her life.

In 2000, St John and her horse Oliver represented Canada in individual eventing at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Two years later, the pair represented the maple leaf again at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. In 2014, St John switched her focus to show jumping and appeared in shows throughout Europe up until her passing.

Known as a kind and genuine woman with a wonderful sense of humour, she lived joyfully doing what she loved - planning for competitions, training her horses and executing her riding at the highest level. In recent years she was proud to have achieved success in the biggest show jumping competition in Europe.

She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her and leaves memories of a dedicated horsewoman, partner, and friend in the Canadian and International equestrian community.
