I was just thinking of Stuart a few weeks ago....I am so sorry to hear he is gone. My memories are mostly from him in highs school and college days, and I have to say what I remember most is his smile. May he rest in peace.

I met Stuart in 1999. We talked about his jobs with Tektronix and Starbucks, his career with the Argonauts and Gamblers, the hair salon he had visited since his mom took him there as a boy ;-) And what nice hair he had. He told me he left college, so close to finish, to take the pro football contract; and after his football career ended, he certainly never lost pace in his work life. What I remember about Stuart, from the 12+ times I saw him, was that he was always tanned, always perfectly groomed (beautifully dressed and so fit), and (almost) always smiling (he wasn't very happy with Siemens the last time I saw him). My goodness he was an attractive person, so beautiful to view! I am surprised to learn he was a Christian, and he never talked about his daughter. It's very sad that he is gone. I want to know what happened. Life is left only to the living, though, and so it must be. I am very sorry for the grief and heartache and loss. My dad was 48 when he died, but he packed a lot into those decades and I know Stuart did too. Peace and laughter to all.

Romas 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
